Our student from the 5th class of the University Diploma in Leadership and Civic Engagement, Cristina Pastor, is enjoying her training scholarship at the most prestigious conservative think tank in the United States, The Heritage Foundation.

During these three months, she is having the opportunity to analyze the 2025 U.S. National Security Strategy and its reinterpretation of the Monroe Doctrine. For the first time in decades, the Western Hemisphere is emerging as a central priority for U.S. national security.
Cristina Pastor is preparing a report in which she identifies critical threats such as narcoterrorism, migration, and the influence of foreign powers, and outlines a new phase of U.S. power projection and influence in the region.
Our student is developing her research work thanks to the training offered by The Heritage Foundation and the large community of well-established researchers. Likewise, this experience is the result of her excellent academic track record in the University Diploma of Expert in Leadership and Civic Engagement from CEU CEFAS.
