On September 26, 27, and 28, our research officer, Paz Marín, participated in the Autumn University “The Essence of Life – How Conservative Values Can Save Our Future?”, organized by the Hungarian Scruton Hub at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium facilities in Révfülöp, Hungary.

The event aimed to reflect, from the perspective of Roger Scruton’s conservative thought, on some of the major challenges of our time: the impact of cultural Marxism and the woke ideology on society, the defense of freedom of expression, the debate between globalism and national sovereignty, as well as the current geopolitical situation.

The seminar brought together participants from 14 different countries and featured presentations by politicians, academics, public figures, and journalists. Attendees shared perspectives and concerns inspired by Scruton’s philosophy regarding the need to preserve our tradition—cultural heritage, social order, and national identity—in order to build a solid and humane future.
Through this participation, we continue to strengthen an international network of cooperation in defense of the values that sustain our communities.
