During his speech, Puig de la Bellacasa enunciated the reasons that have led to this new world context and pointed out that “the United States and the European Union are realizing what is happening in Latin America”. An idea that was also highlighted by the president of ECR-Eurolat, and in this sense he said that the West “must react and fight to put a stop to the takeover of Latin America by Chinese tyranny”, said Tertsch.
In the webinar, the diplomat, writer and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Ernesto Araujo, said that in the case of his country “they are adopting the Chinese model of surveillance and control, politicizing the truth and taking advantage of the moral indifference of the citizens”. For his part, the foreign policy expert at The Heritage Foundation, Joseph Humire, assured that “China is preparing for war” and analyzed the strategies being carried out by this country.
